All our guests are required by our attorneys, on arrival, to read and accept the terms of this contract.

PIERCE RANCH AND KARANKAWA PLAINS OUTFITTING COMPANY L.L.C.

RULES FOR HUNTERS AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY

1. Compliance with all federal and state game laws if mandatory.

2. No loaded guns outside of designated hunting areas.

3. No shooting from vehicles.

4. No loaded guns in vehicles.

5. No vehicles on the property unless escorted by a guide without prior notification of Ranch.

6. All minors must be accompanied by an adult while hunting, and must show proof of completion of a hunting safety course.

7. No alcoholic beverages are allowed in blinds or hunting fields.

8. Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to hunt.

9. No illegal drugs will be allowed on the property.

10 Hunters will conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner at all times, both in the field and at the lodge.


WAIVER OF LIABILITY
  • All Hunters agree to release Pierce Ranch & Karankawa Plains Outfitting Company L.L.C. from and to hold harmless and indemnify Pierce Ranch and Karankawa Plains Outfitting Company L.L.C. against any and all losses, costs, damages, expenses (including reasonable attorneys fees and costs), claims, suites and liability on account of any and all damage to, or loss or destruction of, any property or injury to or death of any person arising directly or indirectly out of, or in connection with, Hunter's use of his hunting rights granted by the Pierce Ranch and Karankawa Plains Outfitting Company L.L.C. It is specifically understood and agreed that the foregoing indemnity shall cover and include losses, costs, damages, expenses, claims, suits and liability arising out of or resulting from the ordinary (but not gross) negligence of Pierce Ranch and Karankawa Plains Outfitting Company L.L.C. and its officers, agents and employees, regardless of whether such ordinary negligence be contributory or sole.

    ANY PERSON WHO DOES NOT COMPLY WITH THE ABOVE RULES WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE PROPERTY, LOSING ANY ADDITIONAL HUNTING RIGHTS TO THE PROPERTY AND ALL FEES AND DEPOSITS THAT HAVE BEEN PAID.
