Don't miss October birding at KP.  Texas birding just got easier.  Don't wade through the marsh rattling milk jugs to see Black Rails and Yellow Rails.  Come on KP's birding tours and let us do the work. Ride on a mobile observation platform while rice combines flush the rails. We have a comfortable lodge that will accommodate 22 guests.  And our evening Waterfowl roost pond tour is absolutely awe inspiring.  Literally, tens of thousands of geese and ducks and other waterfowl types fly in to our maintained roost ponds.  This tour may be scheduled during the same visit as the Black Rail and Yellow Rail Tours.

Additional bird watching will take place in the evening on our roost pond tours.  Here birding enthusiasts will watch in amazement as literally thousands of waterfowl (of great diversity) come in for the evening roost.

Our facilities are located on the historic Pierce Ranch, midway between High Island and Rockport, on the Great Texas Birding Trail. Stop by on your travels between the most visited bird viewing areas in Texas.

And we offer full service lodging as well as private cabins.
